As urban designer / regulatory specialist with cbt architects:
Working with the forward-thinking East Cambridge Neighborhood Planning Group as urban designer for cbt architects, the intent was to use open space to link a series of disparate public spaces and assets like the Infinite Corridor and Kendall Cinema plaza.
An open space network was linked with upcoming new development projects to create via a set of strategic and collaborative interventions. Called “Smart Blocks”, their evolving design over time develops the pedestrian, connective tissues for a legible, walkable system and maintaining a thriving neighborhood for startups, MIT technologists, and health sciences way into the future.
